I tryed my first defatt after acid boiling 400grams of acacia bark and here is some pictures below of fat layer in jar..
I was able to fit the boiled out alcaloids of 400 grams of bark ..
[[[5 acid boils leaving one gallon of liquid]]]...into less than a quart bottle by straining out the bark fiber then reducing the water down to fit in vinigar bottle..
[[am i crouding too much in too small a space??]
After waiting till seperation happens... [even after all night].. the light colered goo just falls to bottom and is still there ..[[in a thinner layer?]]..although the napatha looks [ a little more clear]...isnt the light collored goo what i need to remove?
The stuff seems slow to seperate...and still there is a thinner layer of goo on bottom of napatha [between napatha and water layer]...
If I remove the setteld out napatha...dont i also need to remove the thinner layer of
just below it???
any advice apreciated...
