Hello, this seemed as the appropriate section to ask my questions regarding LSA. The mazatecs used to extract this alkaloid from seeds using just water. If only the salt form dissolves in polar solvents does this mean that the LSA found in seeds are in a salt form?
And then they drunk this water and had visions.
Does this mean that the alkaloid is active in its salt form?
Will changing the alkaloid to free form enhance the activity?
These are very important questions to me, i would very much appreciate the help of a knowing person.
