GVG vs Arizer Solo? Options

Hello Nexus,

I'm preparing for my first DMT experience and have been looking at either getting the GVG or the Arizer Solo as tools of administration. I love the idea of not having to use a lighter with the portable Solo vape. I'm also plan on using alternative smokes and the Arizer would be of great use for this. Below is a website which is currently having a sale on the Arizer. However, everyone here seems to hype up the GVG. I'm honestly torn because I know I will like both but I want to make administration as easy as possible as I have read of many other who seem to have a hard time. I would like your opinions on which device I should get -- or let me know of any other devices you prefer -- particularly someone who has used the Arizer Solo for DMT. Confused

“Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering its a feather bed.”

I've never used an Arizer Solo. I prefer changa in a bong (you can have other sliders for weed), but the GVG is amazing too.

I will quote my response to a recent "Which Cheap Electronic Vaporizer..." thread, as it applies to this question as well.

Entheogenerator wrote:
Vaporizers which utilize an external flame as the heat source, like the GVG or The Machine, often allow for better temperature regulation than most electronic vaporizers. The temperature to which one sets the vaporizer is not necessarily representative of the actual temperature at the point of vaporization. I have had far better results with the GVG and The Machine than I ever have with $300-$400, top-of-the-line electronic vaporizers.

And I definitely agree with arcologist, convection is much more suitable for DMT vaporization than conduction.

Arcologist mentions in that thread that he uses an Arizer brand vaporizer, though I am not sure if he has experience with a GVG to compare it to.
