49cm - 7cm(tip to tip) of Pachanoi: 1336g Total weight 969g White flesh & core 319g Green flesh 48g Outer skin & spines The strips of green flesh have been airdried at about 35C, which took 2 days. Trichocereus bridgesii monstrose = Penis plants
greenhouse grown given good organic food and ample water (fully hydrated).
30 small-medium stems of newer growth (no woody stuff) and spines removed.
fresh 575g
dried 35g
=94% water
batch 2 drying now but its also 30 stems.
fresh 677g
dried 45
=94% water
so a total of 1252 grams made 80 grams dry (almost exactly).
so about 6-6.5% of fresh cactus is the real weight of cactus (minus water) for well watered TBM.
