This was my first time using Xylene as the NP solvent in an A/B extraction of Acacia Confusa.
500ml of Xylene was used per pull. Each pull was treated with dry ice to seperate the NMT from the DMT (The fourth pull was non-reactant, so all the DMT/NMT was extracted with 3 pulls).
927mg of fumaric acid was dissolved in 150mls. of anhydrous acetone, and mixed with the xylene/DMT. After 24 hours, crystals were noticeable. The solution was poured through a filter to collect the DMT fumarate, which was washed 4 times with acetone. The result was a slightly salmon white 3.7grams DMT fumarate
The Xylene pulls were treated again, with 618mg fmaric acid/100ml acetone, to see if anything was left. Overnight a white precipitate formed, which was collected and washed in acetone 4 times. The result was 1.2 grams white DMT fumarate.

Not sure I love xylene. It takes a lot of washing to get the smell out. However, it IS efficient at extracting DMT from ACRB, and delivering DMT fumarate ready to roll.
