so one has found considerable difficulty getting all of the solvent away from basic slurry, turker basters dont seem to hold liquid, once the baster leave the liquid it is dribbling all the way to its new container...so no good, graduated cylinders work fairly well but there is always a some that does not pour off, from the original base container and from the cylinder...soo does anyone have any really cleaver way of getting that last bit of solvent out?

Separatory funnels are the most efficient and thorough method, as well as the more "official" method. But if you don't want to invest in one of those, glass syringes, used for industrial applications, work very well. You may not be able to get every last drop, but you can always just do a couple more pulls to get 99% of the spice that is left.
