Has anyone ever just had a ridiculously funny experience with DMT?

I had a tiny lit bit of pure crystal left that I'd been saving for my significant other for when they finally decided to take the plunge. That moment had not come yet and I had more coming on the way so I decided after a couple months without it was time for another journey.

I scraped together 36mgs, and I cleaned out my stupid crappy meth style pipe with alcohol before hand. While it soaked I turned on some selections from Lateralus and meditated for about 25 minutes to get in the right mood. I actually hadn't attempted this level of seriousness and preparation as of yet, and almost started seeing things just sitting in the dark.

I decided the time was right and ensconced myself in my favorite DMT environment; the bathroom with the shower running (the running water syncs up well to the high pitched Universal Scream)!!!

I vaped the bowl perfectly in 3 hits, no burning or burnt shoeleather taste whatsoever. By the third hit the whole procedure wasn't making sense. I layed back just outside the shower and prepared to let go. I felt the tingling all over that I hadn't felt in several sessions and KNEW this one was going somewhere...

What followed was ENTIRELY unexpected. It was the MOST vivid visuals I've ever gotten from DMT. It literally looked like watching a DVD in virtual reality.

I was in a room that looked straight out of an IKEA catalog, dark but lit quite well by artsy lamps. There was some hip furniture and organizer/shelves with weird objects on them (memory is hazy of what exactly).

The occupants of the room are a revolving casts of people in head to toe colored spandex suits. They were the focus of my attention. They are moving and winding rhythmically in a way that I guess you could call awkward dancing (like Thom York in the Lotus Flower video). I am slowly moving about the scene while they perform around me. They sometimes pick up a random object from the shelf, incorporate it into their dance moves and put it back down somewhere else. I sense in my peripheral people entering the room and sitting down on a couch, or simply clearing their throat and then leaving.

At first I'm very confused as to what I'm seeing as it's never been this lucid before. But at some point I think very clearly to myself. "OKAY, I GET IT! THIS is how it's gonna be!" and I cracked into a big smile.

The sound comes in stereo. In my left ear I hear the usual whirs and whines accompanied by clownlike noises of springs, horns, etc. In the right channel I'm getting an eclectic mix of all sorts of human voices saying random things like "UHH, NOPE, COME ON, YES, HOLD ON, RIGHT, UMM, OKAY, PLEASE DO, UH-UH, OF COURSE, I HOPE, KEEP GOING, NOT YET, ALRIGHT, SERIOUSLY" and on and on in rapid fire succession, accompanied by a random burp or mouth fart noise.

By this point I'm laughing so hard tears are actually streaming down my real face. I'm certain at one point I said aloud, "I can't believe this is happening!".

At some point it starts fading and the usual spinning/morphing geometry is kind of underwhelming at this point so I decide to open my eyes. I lay for quite awhile longer, watching as the ceiling and light fixture morph and allowing my conscious mind to take control and reflect on what just happened. I had quite a dopy grin on my face the whole time!

I don't believe I've heard of anyone having quite such a goofy experience with DMT and have had no precedent with that kind of weirdness myself. It's usually far more serious and astounding, but part of what made it so funny is that I had gotten into SUCH a serious mindset beforehand!

It was like whatever entities were in control were saying "WHY SO SERIOUS, SON?". Even though I didn't learn anything deep I still came away feeling like this was one of my two most profound 'breakthroughs'.

I would love to hear of any similar experiences. One thing that I take from it is that I probably will NEVER feel apprehensive before a DMT session ever again. I like these sorts of things but it IS so intense that there usually is some uncomfortablity involved. But after this Cosmic Insanity how can I ever feel nervous again?

This place is very familiar!! The cozy rooms with side tables, lamps and paintings too. And the mischievous jester like "machine elves" with their top hats and canes. They often lead you into revolving staircases, or show you flowers of infinity or jack in the box hyperspace explosions. I have even had swing set playtime with some of these fabulous intergalactic friends. All the while trying to prevent me from going into further levels or realms. These ever twisting shapeshifting folk often wear the spandex-like wardrobe you speak of. Checkers and stripes, they definitely have style!

So yeh, you are not alone. I have also had times where things don't seem to be working all that right, and they telepathically murmur "Sorry!! We currently experiencing difficulty!! Come back later!!" or, "Oops, we're broken!!!" The correlating visuals are usually hilarious. Tweaked out McDonalds logos or symbols you wouldn't expect to see in a mystical realm. Like a Shinto symbol that really just looks like a picnic table!!! They want to show you things you understand, but sometimes hyperspace has rush hour traffic. Who knows if this is a matter of brain chemistry or actually chaos within the realm. I'd like to imagine, dosage, diet and breathing all play a role. But he we are, the pioneers....

Great report man!!
