So I have been growing a acacia acuminata using tropical/subtropical imperial bonsi mix. last friday I transplanted the small acacia from the container it was germinated in to a bigger pot. Today when i went to check on the plant it has fallen completely over on its side. I will try and post pictures of it but for now does anyone have any advice on what i could do to save it?

Oops! Looks like you followed a bad link."

Without seeing it, I'd say stake it up & tie it to the stake gently. I recommend not letting the root system completely dry out because many of mine have died from that.

I hope you get the link worked out and someone who knows what they're doing will chime in here.

Not sure what happened there but on my screen the whole link is not highlighted so I have to select the whole thing right click and open link.

My Acacia confusa seedlings never looked like that, it needs more light to survive. It's stretching like crazy.

Just be careful not to ramp up how much light you're giving it too quickly, it'll probably have trouble transporting water to its leaves. Staking it up with a toothpick and a bit of string might help it.

If it does perk up, I suggest adding some symbiotic nitrogen-fixing bacteria in your soil too, you can buy little packets of them for use with beans. One application is enough for lifetime symbiosis. Although I'm not 100% sure bean bacteria is compatible with Acacia, I gave my confusa a dose as a seedling, and it's looked green ever since.

Sorry, but you might want to try germinating some more, it doesn't look very strong Sad

Alright I will give what you suggest a try and give it a couple of days and report back.
