I'm new... Really new. I have only been smoking pot for a year and that's the only drug I have ever tried. No joke nothing. Not even a pain pill as a kid.

I have been personally drawn to DMT and I can't stop learning more knowledge.

My question is a very big request but I was wondering if some salty DMT vets could give me guidance on my journey to hopefully one day be able to receive the gift of dmt and be as prepared as possible.

Step number two : Start reading EVERYTHING on this site its a bit daunting, but I haven't gotten bored yet and I've been at it for months and learned a lot.

If you decide to extract DMT choose which Tek suits you best as there are a lot out there.

During my first Tek I had the chat room open just to get reassurance that what I was doing was correct.

As you have never done any psychedelics you should prepare yourself, read peoples trip reports and get a feel for whats in store.

I started my DMT jounrey about 1 year ago, and have found this site to be extremely helpful, if I can carry out successful extractions you will be fine.

Everyone, thank you so much for the wisdoms and help. I'm excited of course to receive the gift of dmt, but am also accepting of the the fact that all good things come in time.

I assume by "being prepared" you mean you intend to have a breakthrough dose and not freak out. I can't say there's really any way to prepare for that, but some things can help:

If you have experience with other psychedelics, starting with low doses and working your way up to higher ones. This will give you some familiarity with the territory you will be venturing into.

Working on meditation, stilling the mind, learning equanimity (the ability to keep level-headed in spite of chaos around you)

It's never a good thing to just blast off with no idea what you're in for. The amateur can freak out, hurt themselves or others, end up in jail, etc.

Always good advice: create the safest environment you can, and have someone there who can watch over you in case things turn south.
