Hi, this is the first poem I wrote, inspired by my first few spice experiences.

The Spice of Life

Attachment, longing and looking back
Took me close to falling through the crack
Spent my time using unfulfilling pursuits
When I should have been searching for my roots
To find out what I've been and always will be
To look inside not out to find the genuine me
I've always thought things happen for you not to you
I'll always remember that first breakthrough
The buzzing noise, the vivid colours, alien people
The first time I worshiped under the chemically induced steeple
As I went further it guided me through
Foreign experiences but as familiar as me or you
After the first time it was total bewilderment
The second gave me utter amazement
Took me to a place I had never been
Showed me things that I've never seen
She showed me to let go of my sense of self
This loving, beautiful god like, she-elf
The colours almost took me but there was a lesson to learn
I must start afresh or watch my egos' world burn
Will I go back? You bet I will
I'd always advise to choose the red pill,
She found me and showed me I want to be free,
Thank you for everything so far, my friend DMT

Hehehe Indeed my fellow poet!
"Think more than you speak"
"How do you get rid of the pain of having pain in the first place? You get rid of expectations"
"You are everything that is. Open yourself to the love and understanding that is available."
"To see God, you have to have met the Devil."
"When you know how to listen, everyone becomes a guru."
" One time, I didn't do anything, and it was so empty... Almost as if I wasn't doing anything. Then I wrote about it. It was fulfilling."
