What's the best way to extract freebase from chaliponga (it's the only legal plant containing high doses of dmt in my country). I was planning to use cyb's hybrid tech, and I was adviced using limonen. Will it work well? I guess naphta is the way to go too but at home I have chloroform - is it ok too? (it's a non polar solvent). Also is the extra step in cyb's tech crucial for the outcome?
Any help will do, excuse my noobism
cheers
Pretty much any tek
should work for chaliponga, although you will need to add a defat step and you might need to recrystallize in order to yield reasonably pure DMT. I'm not sure what you mean by the "extra step" in Cyb's tek... Your best bet would definitely be to pick a tek and follow it to the letter. Don't make any alterations in quantities or materials, aside from the addition of a defat step if you go with an A/B.
Limonene would work, but you would have to salt your DMT out of the solvent rather than freeze-precipitating or evaporating. This would add a whole new layer of complication, which I probably wouldn't recommend for the first-timer. I'm not sure chloroform would work, and if I were you I wouldn't test it unless someone can verify that it will. Naphtha or another aliphatic hydrocarbon (heptane, hexane, etc.) would probably be your best bet for the A/B route.
Honestly, I would recommend jamie's IPA tek that dreamer linked. It is simple, the materials are relatively easy to acquire, and it is tried and tested for chaliponga and chacruna. From my understanding, chacruna would be more likely to yield mostly pure DMT, while chaliponga may contain other alkaloids. But I may be wrong. If chaliponga is available in your area, I don't see any reason that chacruna would not be.
