I am wondering the legal status of acacia confusa...I tried searching for it and I could not really find anything, I found one post on here that seemed like it was explaining, but it got too technical and into legal jargon I couldn't quite tell what the final say was.

It contains a Schedule 1 substance which makes it illegal in the USA. I've never heard of anyone being prosecuted for it but it is technically illegal.

Did he say he was in the USA? o_o
Which country/nation do you live? You should be able to find the laws on the appropriate customs website.
Personally, I find the law analogous to high risk piracy. A lot of people import it, but if you aren't careful or are unlucky, you could be the "example" case used by DEA/Other evil government agency.
Best advice if you are ordering, don't order large quantities.

Thanks for the advice...what would be considered a large quantity? And I know there is no source talk on this forum, but are there vendors that are shady to order from, and if so, how can I know if a vendor is reliable? I am in the US.

Questions of quantity/what the law will say are really impossible to answer, since it's all so subjective.
My hunch is that the vast majority of law enforcement types, even within the DEA, probably have no clue what ACRB is, so I wouldn't worry too much. If you're in the US and order from a domestic vendor (no customs), you should be totally fine.

Check some of the sponsors on other, reputable psychedelic websites. The Shroomery has some good ones.

Thanks! I understand that quantities are subjective, but I was hoping for some sort of ballpark, if worst came to worst...what kind of consequences would there be for ordering this bark? Would it be possible to claim ignorance? Could you just say, "I didn't order that"? I'm just trying to gather as much information as I can before I proceed, can never be too careful! Big grin

Well if you order something from your computer, using your name and address and bank card linked to you I don't see how you can simply suggest it was delivered to you by accident.

Ignorance of the law is not an excuse so I wouldn't rely on that at all. As far as quantity, the more you get caught with the more your in trouble.

Either way this thread is technically breaking the rules. So do things at your own risk. You could always start a sustainable garden.

I was actually just looking at the threads about starting a garden! And I wouldn't use a bank card, maybe a prepaid visa, and sorry if this is breaking rules Embarrased I was actually trying to get information without breaking any rules! The initial post had nothing to do with buying or sourcing anything and I don't believe discussing legality of plants was a rule, correct me if I am mistaken, I guess it does say no discussion of acquiring... sorry.
