So I've read more than a few posts in a few places saying that ACRB is orally active. Now that would lead one to believe that there must be an MAOI in the bark or, as has been mentioned, there are other psychoactives that compete with the receptors well enough to allow the DMT to retain it's activity.
Now basically I have a two part question. One, has anybody figured out the action that makes ACRB orally active? And for two, if it is an MAOI would it be safe for someone who is prescribed d,l-amp to smoke? He figures no but also figures that the MAOI (if present) may be destroyed when smoking the extract.
Thank you all in advance, he would really like to try it safely but can't determine how safe it actually is without knowing what the compound or mechanism of action is.
"Whereas modern cynicism brought despair about the ability of the human species to realize laudable ideals, postmodern cynicism doesn't —not because it's optimistic, but because it can't take ideals seriously in the first place. The prevailing attitude is Absurdism. A postmodern magazine may be irreverent, but not bitterly irreverent, for it's not purposefully irreverent; its aim is indiscriminate, because everyone is equally ridiculous. And anyway, there's no moral basis for passing judgment. Just sit back and enjoy the show. " - Robert Wright
