The fact that these researchers managed to use fluorescence imaging with a CMOS chip
isn't surprising; fluorescence spectrometry/spectroscopy has been the most sensitive means
of analysis for some time...what amazes me is how 3D printing technology is going to revolutionize many industries such as this.
