A buddy did his first extraction from MHRB using a cross between Vovin's Tek and the Max Ion Tek. Extracted >100mg from 100g of Bark.

Buddy try's again with 50g of MHRB and pulls 100mg. He's disappointed and looking for help.

The following is a general rundown of his methods.

Obtain shredded MHRB (MOD- Please avoid references to suppliers.Thankyou). Labeled "Mimosa hostilis inner root bark" and "Mimosa hostilis Jurema".

Turns into powder using a blender. Powder is fine enough to take to the air when the lid comes off the blender. Powder is mixed with fibrous strands.

Adds water and freezes. Repeat.

Splits into two batches.

Lowers PH to 3.5ish using Hydrochloric acid.

Puts in mason jar in a slow cooker for 3-4 hours. Water cycles between 120-145 F. Repeats 4 times taking around 200ml of extracted water each time using a Buchner Funnel and Vacuum Pump. Water is dark red/purplish.

Evaps solution to manageable amount under a fan.

Defats

Adds lye water to solution until PH is 12.5-13. Adds salt to super saturated.

Total of 600ml solution split in two. (300ml in each flask.)

Adds 25ml Klean Strip VM&P Naphtha to each flask. Puts in crock pot. Temp is 130 F. Leaves in crockpot to warm 30mins to 2 hours.

Spins, tilts, shakes, every 20-40 minutes. Separates with separatory funnel.

Repeats the Naphtha step 5 times.

Washes with soda carb.

Evaps Naphtha under fan.

Collects sticky tan + white crystals with razor blade.

Yield is sub 100mg. Expected to be less with re-crystal + more cleaning.
