Bad pulls due to under Basification? Options

If it is thought the Ph was to low for the Basification process prior to pulls, can one go back later, up the Ph, re-heat, and re-pull? Is it worth the effort? The current basified solution has been stored for several days now while freezing precip on original pulls, so I guess another important question is if there is point where the basified solution has sat too long that it is not possible or worth the time to go back and attempt a recovery?

Thanks for the info, and look forward to hearing from anybody.

The basic solution is good *at least* a couple weeks (from personal experience) and possibly longer.

You should know if you underbased... The acid solution gets very hot and changes color as well as smell once basified. You should also see some of the alkaloids precipitate.

Its ok to go ahead and basify it further. It hasn't gone bad. It is definitely worth the time to get all you can out of whatever source you are using.

Added probably enough lye to now be twice the recommended, but litmus strip still reads the same. Wonder if it get a little defective in the reading with the higher ph levels. Supposed to read up to 14 ph, but does not seem to color beyond the 10 ph area.
