Are DMT and spice the same thing? spice was something sold in this state until the last couple of years i think. I'm really ignorant of newer things i suppose. I've tried LSD more times than i can count in the last 40 some years as well as shrooms. I took a trip to the Peyote church in Arizona in 2011 and it was nothing like i expected, but it was one of the best and most peaceful nights of my life. I had never really heard of DMT before.

Then you have come to the right place!

Spice does indeed = DMT. However, there is a legal high known as "spice" (synthetic cannabis). If people on this forum are talking about "spice" it is most likely referring to DMT.

The "spice" products that were (and I believe still are?) sold in the US are herbal blends infused with various synthetic cannabinoids. When you talk to an average person on the street in the US at least, they will think of these products when you say "spice".

Here on the Nexus we also refer to DMT as "spice" referencing the similarities between it and the descriptions of the spice Melange in Dune.
The spice extends life. The spice expands consciousness. The spice is vital to space travel.

In short, nope they are not the same thing.
