Lophs need anywhere from five to ten years to get really potent. When they are grafted like that, they get huge quick, but they still need almost a decade before they will be worth consuming. Not to mention that when taking peyote, one eats anywhere from four buttons and up. I've read about people eating over a dozen buttons. You have some great looking plants, but they just need time. Lots and lots of time. Maybe look into Trichocereus varieties if you want to eat them. They grow much faster and are very easy to care for. Were the three little ones cut and planted into soil or hard grown from seed? The smaller ones don't look like caespitosas to me. For being that big they should have dozens of little pups. This is my caespitosa. 3 Yrs old. "When you make the finding yourself - even if you're the last person on Earth to see the light -you'll never forget it." Carl Sagan
