Whenever I inhale any amount of DMT the only thing I can smell is DMT, even if its just second hand smoke. I put my nose to a flower it smells like DMT, even when I'm exhaling I can smell it. I can only smell other things after the peak passes. Does anyone else have this experience or know anything more about it? I have never heard of anyone else talking about it before.

Only a truly sick devil worshipper would know. But I read in a well known research book on the subject that people who are injected with DMT can taste it. So maybe having that evil stuff inside you can get it into your nose via the bloodstream for a similar effect.

Sometimes SWIM will be walking around the neighborhood and get a whiff of some flowers that smell like DMT. There are plenty of compounds in nature that smell like dmt. But yea its weird because as soon as SWIM smells anything like it his brain immediatly is like what is that! If SWIM never smoked dmt it would probably go unnoticed.

The powdered form smells like flowers. The vapor smells like plastic.

Be careful licking toads as Cardiac glycosides are present in toad skin. I would never lick a toad, toad licking is dangerous it could kill you. I would however smoke bufo alvarus venom as the heat destroys the Cardiac glycosides. These toads are eating machines they eat mice by swallowing them whole and can easly eat 3or4 mice every 4or5days. They also produce large amounts of waste cages must be cleaned daily. If you want 5 MEO order it online and let the toads be. I have raised these toads in captivity as interesting pets, I milked them once expermentaly I do not use them as 5 MEO producers. I had no intention of keeping these toads when I ran across them for sale at a reptile expo I could not pass them up. Reptiles and DMT go hand in hand sorry if a bit off topic but please dont lick toads or frogs.

Just a quick correction to MagikVenom: The Bufo toads produce both Bufotenin (5-OH-DMT) and 5-MeO-DMT, where the Bufotenin is believed to be responsible for most of the psychedelic effects (as 5-MeO-DMT really isn't that visual). I have heard some toads produces only Bufotenin. The two most common, Bufo alvarius and Bufo marinus, contains both.

Albeit a bit late, I'd like to get back to FatCat's original question. Yes Fatcat, I know what you are talking about. As someone else stated I think it's simply just because heavy amounts of the chemical are in your blood stream. People who shoot IV drugs, or smoke meth, crack, etc. note the same thing. I think it's just due to the sensitivity of our olfactory senses and the chemical(s) being in our blood.

Additionally, I regularly have experiences like Burnt has described. I smell MANY plants now with this odor, and it always makes me wonder if it's a DMT containing plant (even if it's only the most minute traces of the chem)...

Its springtime in the northeast and a lot of plants are flowering.
I smell DMT in many flowers. This is something I never noticed before as I have never used any DMT before recently.
I wonder if it is DMT we might smell from flowers, and maybe thats what attracts many insects to flowers, because maybe they are a bunch of little stoners! lol....
