Entities in the University Options

For the record (and with a little pride), I can say that DMT entities made their debut in Australian academia yesterday - a talk given by Dr X Wink called 'DMT Entities and the Light: Preliminary Anthropological Investigations'.

I trust this kind of thoughtful treatment is in the spirit of the Nexus (which got more than an honourable mention).

Wow! Was the talk well attended? Does dr.X have any material posted online?

Great to see our frontpage graphic in that setting... Very cool!

Seeing this makes me extremely proud at all the hard work that has been done over the years by so many of our members.

Thank you for sharing this, it is a great motivator!

Kind regards,

This is how change gets started.
The ball is only going to start rolling faster (harder?) from here.

Nice job Thumbs up

Thanks everyone! Smile

It did feel like a threshold was crossed. I gave a paper - as have others - on aya a few years back at the Anthro Annual Conference, but this was something different.

No one else in the room had ever tried dmt (I checked... In fact I doubt many had ever heard of it. Wrong demographic. I also checked for contact with fairies... one hand half raised... they may be having second thoughts after the talk Wink ... Not that I've had fairy contact either, rather that dmt, in my view, reveals the richness lying between the somewhat sterile and supposedly exhaustive poles of 'my interior subjectivity' and 'objective reality'Pleased.

In any case, more than half got into the spirit of the anonymity forced upon this community when I asked for a group photo at the end.. So just a small seminar presentation.

I'll let you know when Dr X has got anything worth putting out there. It will be a while. Baby steps...

Thanks for this, Traveler. I'm really glad that this kind of considered attention to the Nexus and the alchemical gold it is the cultural custodian for is welcomed - as I hoped it would be.

I've been invited to guest lecture on DMT use in Australia to next year's 'Culture and Drugs' course. A first year course with an intake of 1300 students Smile

Looking forward to it.

Very cool indeed! This is my first experience of seeing my art in the "wider world" as it were. Makes me grateful that I was able to join the project.

Smile Thanks for your contribution!

ymer, I was speaking from notes. Most of it very familiar to anyone here. A key thing to come through from my interviews with highly experienced users has been the importance of what could be called 'samadhi' experiences for navigating the dmt zone... Much more for me to learn yet before I have anything significant to contribute.
