"But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. The present moment, ultimately, is more than enough, a gift of grace and unfathomable value, which our friend and lover death paints in stark relief."

Sup soulfood, I know we have never really talked that much with each other but I like you. I imagine you to have a beard and just go around in your own little bubble of perspective and crack hilarious one-liners both IRL and here, a good guy in essence. And I realize dolphins are not whales, but I like them too.

Actually dolphins are whales, but not all whales are dolphins. Both are amazing creatures. I have always thought of dolphins and whales to be highly spiritual animals. Large whales in particular I think of as Zen masters, capable of exploring inner and outer dimensions while swimming around in their low gravity domain.

BTW I would totally hit that if I were that dolphin. I'd totally hit that regardless. Very happy
Let us declare nature to be legitimate. All plants should be declared legal, and all animals for that matter. The notion of illegal plants and animals is obnoxious and ridiculous.

How'd that dolphin get that woman topless?! He doesn't even have any thumbs! They certainly are clever creatures. Twisted Evil

This is a Northern Right Whale Dolphin. They have no dorsal fin, which most dolphins have, and are always black and white. Their bodies are very long and slender. To me they are one of the most elegant looking dolphins. I have seen them several times in the wild, but once we got about 10 of them that came really close and enjoyed bow riding our small boat. I got a couple of really nice close up looks into the eyes of several of them. I've often wondered what the spiritual life of these animals is like.

Here's a wonderful video of a whale rescue. The ending made me tear up a bit.

I had a really nice psychedelic dream a few months ago where I was swimming in this black void, communing with a whale. Then later that morning, this song popped on and I had it stuck in my head for a few hours...at some point it finally clicked and I remembered the dream I'd had hours ago.
