This reminds SWIM of how ether is retrieved from starter fluid...though much more savory. SWIM'll have to keep an eye out for this stuff. He's been scouring the town in the thinner and cleaning chemical departments, but it seems he's glossed over what he should have been looking for. SWIM would venture to guess that these are quite reliably safe as well.

excuse me... sorry its citrus oil not pure limonene... which people have said will work as well as D-limonene. swim does not know much about Limonene. Which actual product from that site would one use for an extract? the cleaning product?

Ron said that pure orange oil should be about 95% limonene, correct? That stuff from eco claims to be pure orange oil.

SWIM tried this on his alcohol extract after mixing with lime and water: http://www.citrusmagic.com/cgi-bin/category.cgi?item=612112757He isn't sure whether it worked or not, the yield seemed rather low. He'll test the acetate product and see. He's got everything in THP (including the plant material and the used orange oil), though, and has d-limonene on the way, so he'll be able to salvage what's left. If anyone has any reports on this: http://www.ecos.com/orange.htmlSWIM would appreciate it, as this stuff is fairly cheap and more locally available than d-Limonene.

Dagger wrote:"LLB" wrote:http://www.ecos.com/orange.html SWIMS local super market carries it... On their MSDS it says it boils at 85 degrees celsius. That can't be correct for pure d-limonene...? ohayoco wrote:the UK distributor is here http://www.greenbrands.co.uk/It says the UK equivalent product contains 'Water, plant based surficants, pressed orange oil and ethanol derived from corn.' Perhaps the American product actually has similar ingredients? That could explain the boiling point discrepancy. Everything I write is fictional roleplay. Obviously! So SWIM's 250mg tarball from the process mentioned above is certainly mescaline-containing. Unfortunately this source of orange-oil is quite expensive ($5 for 4oz.). SWIM can't wait to get his limonene and see what else is in his leftover material.

SWIM's near the end of his trip, and he feels great! This is the first time he's had mescaline in any form other than the cactus or the brew, and he loves being able to enjoy it without feeling like he's being embalmed. It's interesting that he chose this day to do it, as the last time he remembers using the brew, he was circuit-bending an atari flash-back 2 (to death, unfortunately); tonight he built a reverberation microphone like this: http://thesquarewaveparade.com/2dlrsprng.html (probably wasn't the brightest thing he could've done considering all the cutting and soldering it involved) It's nice for SWIM to be able to sample the power of this new tek before he fully immerses himself in it. SWIM did it with a redbull cola, and would guess that this dose wouldn't have been nearly as effective without all that theobromine and caffeine. SWIM even ate a full meal and some wine without any stomach problems or nausea.

so swim just did a quick experiment swim bought some orange plus and some PURE Citrus ORANGE air freshener
The orange plus does not separate when added to water the PURE citrus does
Now seems to me that all 7oz cans of natural pressurized air fresheners are actually solvent grade. From what ive been able to figure out orange is what you want, not citrus blends etc. While the other scents might work they have orange oils with what ever scent they are scented with.
