First time poster long time lurker here. I thought I'd finally join so that I could participate in the discussions here since you all seem like a well intentioned and level headed bunch.

A little about myself, I am 21 and was first shown the amazing places that spice has to show a little over a year ago. I have seen things which have amazed me and some things which have frightened me but I feel as though all of these experiences have something to tell/teach us. Prior to my first experience I started my own little entheobotanical garden which includes 2 aya vines, a few admixture plants (psychotrias and acacias), a few trichocereus cacti just to name a few. I have been so happy to have been able to see these plants grow, many from seed, which I feel as been a big lesson in and of itself, especially in patience.

It's so great to see a community of people brought together by an experience which transcends race, gender, sexual orientation, age and so many other qualities and I hope to get to know you all a lot better.

Peace be with you all,
A.

Welcome to the Nexus TheAwakening!! Very happy

I love your attitude! Just keep it up and keep posting in the Welcome Area and the Research area and you will start getting votes for your promotion. Smile

Growing plants is very rewarding. I just started growing some T. Bridgesii, and I also got some Peruvian Torch's. Can't wait for them to get big. I see what you mean about it teaching you patience.

Thank you both for the warm welcome Smile

All the cacti that I have raised by seed myself are only tiny. They take a long while to get big but once they are of decent size they grow really quick which my cuttings will attest to. Next season I want to try my hand at starting off a few peyote because to see them fully grown would be very rewarding.

If anyone is interested I wrote up an experience report from yesturday which can be found here; https://www.dmt-nexus.me...=437577&#post437577

Welcome to the Nexus!

As said before, you have a great outlook and attitude towards things! I think you will be a good member of this community, and I love that you have an ethnobotanical garden! More people should do this, and I want to start one myself one day when I have the means to build a greenhouse.

Good luck with your adventures and the garden! I would love to see some pics of it Big grin
Everything published by Gone-and-Back are the mad rantings and ravings of a mind who yearns to be free and thinks he knows what he is talking about. However, these are just delusions made to feel that freedom, because that freedom will never come. Any experiments done are purely figments of the imagination, and are falsified to the highest degree. Nothing should be taken seriously from a crazy mans mind.

Thank you Manifest. I've simply decided to give back to a community that has unknowingly given me a lot. This place is full of knowledge that you simply can't find anywhere else and to be part of something like that is special in and of itself.
