Do you all go to festivals? I don't mean concerts. Festivals, where you can stay for multiple days and there are activities, art and such.

I have researched festivals near me but I can only seem to find ones that don't interest me..

Obviously, I would want a psychedelic festivals.

If any of you know of any good ones in the South-East USA that you would recommend, that would be great.

A good place to start would be:
The Jambase Festival Guide
and
The Burning Man Regional Network

Bear Creek is definitely one to go 2 down in Live Oak Fl, Electronic, Reggae, Dance, Funk and some beautiful art for sure. The Suwannee river runs through the campground, and small campground shows late night. Lettuce, Break Science, Karl D, Zach Deputy, are some of the mainstays.

Here are some suggestions from a well seasoned festival junkie.

- Any event hosted by The Do Lab

- Coachella

- Wakarusa

- Lightning In a Bottle

- Bonnaroo

- Aura

- Florida Hippie Rainbow Gathering

- The Florida Flow Fest

- Anything on the Suwanee River like Suwannee River Jam

- But the Kumbh Mela is the best festival experience in the world (IMO)

Good suggestions, as are any of the events listed here http://thebloomseries.com/

Rootwire would be at the top of my list. Comparable to Lightning in a Bottle.

Went to a fest last weekend, good times. 16+ though, lots of problems with seizures, med staff was busy. It was hot & not a lot of water available and the kiddos were throwing down hard. Most were on RC's i suspect.

Mountain oasis festival in Asheville in October. Dosing in the mountains with the fall foliage, yum.

I met the grouch when he was on the CMA tour several years ago. I've only seen him live in that context. Used to love Grouch & Eligh collabs though as well.

I wish i would have paid attention to when rootwire was happening. This is the 2nd year that i've known about it and totally forgot. I'm literally 30 minutes from that location and it looks like a great festival. Much smaller and easier to manage than something like All Good or any of the other large festivals.

To make it worse I'm working today : (

I really wish i could have boomer, lucy and molly over for a visit tonight!

Especially after the EPIC Machine launch from last night.... whew...

The EarthDance festival, A global peace party, is in Lakeland Florida this year in September.

Here and Here

The theme this year is sacred geometry, the line up is not bad either.

Its been years since I have been to a festival and am trying my all to go to this.Thumbs up

Anyone planning on going to this?
I know its in a different country and or city every year, has anyone been to any of the past EarthDance parties? How was it?

There's a Psy festival in the Arctic Circle next year. It's at place where the sun doesn't actually set. It looks amazing, but would be a nightmare to get to...

[center]Sophia's Light

In darkest night, when lights are dim, and all in sight seems sad and grim,
I find you there, your arms surround me, your spirit fills me and it grounds me.
I look to you, Lady of Truth, most ancient One, yet eternal youth,to keep me safe, protect my heart, and with the wisdom you impart, fill up my empty mind and soul,so that, my Lover, you can make whole, all that was broken in this day –and that is what I ask and pray.
