Howdy
There seems to be a rolling stones thing going on here - JacFlasche, please allow me to introduce myself. I love the stones & reading that sent me off on tangent.

I really enjoyed reading your introduction, it seems you've been on the path to enlightenment for some time. It must have been great to rub shoulders with some of the people you've known.

As for enlightenment I've heard it said several times that when people reach enlightenment they no longer have a desire or need for any substances, so maybe you're on the right track.

I'm curious about your breakthrough experience, I'd love to hear more of your thoughts on that.

I've done Chi Kung for over ten years and when I broke my back I'd do transcendental meditation for up to 6 hours hours every day (sometimes more) and I've had several experiences where I'd experienced separation from this reality. It was different to a DMT breathrough but calling it a breakthrough is a good description.

I've also had profound experiences practicing some of the more advanced stages of Chi Kung which have shifted my consciousness in ways I can't describe.

Namaste

Hello JacFlasche,

Welcome to the Nexus. That was quite an Introduction. Thank you so much for taking the time to write and edit it up - I very much enjoyed reading that.

Great to see another "re-entry student" come back to the world of psychedelics. More and more of us are appearing here at the Nexus.

Wow, you sound a bit like my husband back in the day, who also had the opportunity to smoke synthetic DMT from 1968-1972, as well as use STP and many others. Crazy times for his and his friends.

I encourage you to take a good look around here - this place is huge with so much happening. I suspect you will like what you see. Feel free to join us nuts in chat if you like.

Again, a warm welcome to you.
"But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. The present moment, ultimately, is more than enough, a gift of grace and unfathomable value, which our friend and lover death paints in stark relief."
