No, you just belch it up. That's at least what's always happened to me when I go to take too big of a hit and end up swallowing some. I don't think it necessarily causes misfires either. If I swallow some, it still hits me like a ton of bricks...unless you're suggesting that people are swallowing all of the vapor instead of inhaling any of it, and people not understanding that they have to inhale the vapor as opposed to swallowing it seems unlikely to me. Couldn't happen in more than a handful of cases I would guess.
