First off I'd like to say this is my first post, and I'm glad to be a new addition to this wonderful community Very happy That being said, I'm using thick-light's ACRB tek for my first extraction from 56 g of root bark. My question is on the first two steps..

01. I used 500 grams that I froze and thawed twice then boiled in 2000ml of H20 with 100ml of white vinegar I let this boil for 1 and 1/2 hours then transfered the liquid to another pot and started reducing it. Do this at least 4 times adding fresh vinegar each time. I did it 5 and found that the 5th boil was lighter in color. Anyway as your cooking fresh washes start reducing prior boils in a second pot.

02. once you have the liquid reduced to about 1500ml let cool then pour into your extraction vessel.

Can someone reword this or explain to me what exactly I'm supposed to do after boiling the ACRB, water and vinegar together? What am I transferring to a new pot? And what am I supposed to be "reducing", and how?

separate the water and vinegar from the root bark, put the separated liquid in a new pot and begin to simmer it down.then add fresh water and vinegar too the original pot, with the root bark.when this is done speedster liquid from bark and put liquid with reducing liquid, repeat

your reducing the mixture of vinegar and water, you reduce it by boiling away the excess liquid.

I hope that's easier to understand, and good luck extracting.

I'm pretty sure I understand, but just to be sure, the ACRB stays in the first pot, and only the water/vinegar liquid is going into the "extraction vessel" which is what I'll be extracting from, correct?

yeah, you just combine all the liquid in extraction vessel, leave the root bark in the first pot

Are you able to use just put the ACRB, vinegar and distilled water without simmering/boiling them? If so could you just let it sit for longer?

deadhead - maybe? You'll notice the water/vinegar turns dark red after boiling for a bit. Im sure it would be a really long process if you dont.

Make sure you guys arent too antsy when trying to collect your crystal. I suppose freeze precipitation works and all, but I found it easier to just completely evaporate my saturated naphtha.

When I did it I did 4 pulls from the same ~100g bark. I found the first 2 pulls were 50/50 goo/crystal and the last 2 were mostly crystal with some goo. I experimented around on the last two pulls and added salt during the separation phase, so maybe this explains the better result? Im also wondering what the point of reducing really is, just cause admittedly I didnt do it Embarrased

@ ~60g of bark probably not an issue. I've heard people claim to do good on less.
Everything I say here is a work of spiritual fiction.
