Hello, I know I will have to do more research here but I thought I would ask if anyone living in the Czech Republic has found any products that work well for DMT extraction? SWIM will be working with fresh MHRB powder and has been looking at https://wiki.dmt-nexus.m.../Lime_A/B_Extraction_Tek Any advice is welcome. Best regards, Altered States.

Hi,
Which "products that work well for DMT extraction" do you have in mind? I am asking because I thought that everything has been described in the Tek...

Im not czech, but I can totally see why he would need a countrymen to help him. when I first started reading extraction teks, nothing made sense. the chemical names and what not. even traslation even failed a few times when it came to basic stuff(questions like: what is it called in my language, and when found the translation. it was 8 diffrent answers to one thing).

It is easier for SWIM to get MHRB than the materials in these teks SWIM has lived around Europe in various places, Walmart is excellent for just getting everything in one shopping trip but even Naptha starts to become harder to find the more you go the right hand side of the European Union. In a nutshell SWIM needs to find a solvent that works like 'Naptha'. The reason SWIM specified a country is that SWIM might hit on someone who has gone through this before and knows exactly what SWIM needs to use instead. If SWIM can't use the Naptha tek then maybe the D-limonene or Xylene (the solvent) method is another option. But SWIM will need to find something here that does the same thing as D-limonene or Xylene. A good search engine to figure out if stuff is sold here is http://www.zbozi.cz/?q=Any help is appreciated.

As a last resort, you can use Zippo lighter fluid instead of pure naphtha. It works for freeze precip. and gives good results. Make an evaporation test of your Zippo batch just in case, and if you want to be really careful, wash your spice with alkaline water (water+sodium carbonate) to remove trace amounts of solvent.

"Naptha" = "technický benzín" Simple like that I haven´t done the TEK you are refering to, but "technický benzín" works perfectly for working with Mimosa + for freeze precipitating the product. It can be quite difficult to get pure Xylene around Central Europe... but my dog told me that "Ĺ™edidlo S 6005" can be used instead (at least for some purposes) :-)

If there are backpacking or mountaineering stores you may find Naptha sold as White Gas fuel for cooking stoves, etc. In the US, Coleman fuel is Naptha. There is probably a similar product there. Look online for the MSDS of whatever product you find and you will see if it is just Naptha or has additives. Evaporate a bit and be sure it doesn't leave behind any residue before using. Michal_R,
What about "Pickling Lime"?
Any advice on what I can use?
Best regards,

Thank you. That is amazing.

This sounds like a good advice: Ambivalent wrote:i think you can substitute sodium carbonate instead of pickling lime... I don´t have any experience with pickling lime (I have been using different tek), so I cannot advise on this. Of course Coleman fuel works, but it is many times more expensive than plain and simple "technický benzín"

It may have some additives that you would not want in it. We are each of us angels with only one wing, and we can only fly by embracing one another.

Lime is often sold in Asian or Mexican markets. Are there any such populations who would have specialty markets there? Images of broken light, Which dance before me like a million eyes, They call me on and on...

SWIM was thinking at the worst they can get "Kalkwasser Powder".
It seems to be Calcium hydroxide Powder but it is quite expensive for 500g compared to food lime.
sodium carbonate is everywhere though. So are people confident it does the same thing?

If it comes down to it I could get some online but I think it would be a bit of overkill to order £3.99 worth of lime + £10 p & p if I could do it for much much less.

http://apcpure.com/products.php?product=642SWIM has decided to go with this. Calcium Hydroxide 98% (Reef Kalkwasser). BTW, I noticed that stuff like this has Arsenic As: <2ppm I take it that is less than 2 parts per million which could even be 0 in theory and therefore negligible.

Can you get Sodium Hydroxide ? (see below, google it from another international google site with less restrictions) + Dilute white vinegar & White gas (shellite) = Bingo TGA do a 99.3% NaOH in your geographical and political and sovreign area/location.. Hope Im being helpful... came into the convo a bit late. G Love and Peas One can never cross the ocean without the Courage to lose sight of the shore
