Does anyone know if a higher yield results from adding hot xylene(or any non polar solvent) to a cooler or hotter MHRB base solution? Thanks.
PEACE

hot xylene --> room temp basic solution.

heating the base isn't a good idea; once dmt is in free-base form, it becomes more volatile. even simmering basic solution may cause dmt to evap from the solution
