i ground 50g syrian rue seeds then did 3 water/vinegar boils then filtered. i kept adding sodium carbonate until its was about ph 8-9. its been in the fridge for about an hour now and all i can see is residue from the seeds. im not seeing any harmine/harmaline. im not sure if i need a stronger base, maybe ammonia?

add sodium carbonate until its ph 11. Also, im not sure what you are expecting but harmalas look like just some dirty residue on the bottom, specially during the first precipitation. Did you read the teks in the wiki? Youre missing the manske step.
