From my understanding, due to Daylight savings and leap year, what should happen on December 21st, 2012. Should have already happened sometime in 2008.
I am not 100% sure on the exact year, but all I know, is that whatever is going to happen, should have happend already.

From my understanding, the Mayan predictions are based on geometrical planetary/galactic cycles, and would not be affected by Gregorian calendar modifications.

From what I've sensed both internally and externally in this past year. The change is already here and is still in process.

I've noticed more consciousness in people lately, as well as surfacing of mental/emotional blockages everywhere on a personal scale along with a global scale.

I have a feeling that this December 21, 2012 episode will spark something in humanity. Something huge. What that is, we will have to wait and watch.

A little off subject...or maybe not...

Did everyone hear that the Mars Rover Curiosity has made a historic discovery....

but we have to wait to hear what it is.....

hmmmm....perhaps it is linked....

could it be signs of life of Mars? That would possible bring about a global awareness....

This 21st December is not far, easily be counted in finger... left with 27 days. Very much excited and nervous too. what going to happen on 21st of this december. Hoping for something good.

People freaked o0ut in the year 2000. They thought the world would change dramatically, that the economy would shut down and there would be chaos. When nothing happened, did anything change? I know this is different, I hope good things come always though, and bad doesn't. At the very least I wish times like this would make people think... You know? Something really big "could" happen... And maybe we should all try to live better, get along better, and it not have to take some cataclysm to bring us together. I think overall people will become more conscience as we continue to evolve regardless, we have to choose to use it for the best of planet earth and its inhabitants. If something does happen on 2012, I certainly hope for us to learn to love, but if nothing happens? It will business as usual here in the good ole us of a..? We need to treat everyday like it could be our last here and everyone like we would want to be treated on that day. So just in case cataclysm comes one day, we don't have to worry about making apologies as we run for our lives.

i dont buy into all the hollywood bull and fear mongering because thats all it really is, and like stated another way to make a buck. INteresting to hear what actual mayans believe will happen and how they are preparing for it:

Lets hope for that mass shift in consciousness

I would stop hoping for some major change occurring just as the hours needle hits the spot (and then I presume the consciousness shift would start in the pacific islands and Australia, just as new year).

If you want something to happen, make it happen in your life and the lives around you.

I personally can't wait for december 22.

I know what's going to happen on December 21st!

The shops are going to be gridlocked. More crap on the telly about people blowing each other up in a far away place. Utility and fuel bills are going to rise and more brainwashing about the economic state will be discussed again.

People are expecting too much, they are expecting instant change when in reality it happens to individuals, starting at the roots, one at a time. Each and everyone will experience the same shift in conciousness and instantly know when they have. Although.. I still fall humble to not knowing, fear coming from the known, unknown and present.. All moments in one The awakening's already happened for me, life has evolved and change dramatically in the last year, rippply feelings. strange moments, syncronicity. Beeeeautiful I love life.

The end will come... when we die! How many people are experiencing the end of their world every moment?
