san pedro dosage vs. bridgesii? Options

I've been working with bridgesii mostly due to its dependability and potency. My first cactus experience was from San Pedro and I liked the energetic feel of the experience compared to the lathargic experience I get from a strong dose of achuma.

This leads me to my question, I have yet to experience a strong San Pedro journey. Is a 2 foot dose of average San Pedro comparable to a 1 foot achuma experience?

San Pedros can be SO variable that it's hard to say for sure. I was recently given a cutting from a friend who told me it was the most potent tricho he's ever had and it's a San Pedro.

There is apparently a most common SP clone in the US that is known for often being quite a lot weaker than most.

I'm actually preparing a ceremony for a group, some of which I've done an achuma ceremony with them and for some its their first experience. The guy I usually get my cactus from grows it himself and usually has above average specimens. I'm thinking of getting 12 feet of Pedro for 6 people but I don't want to invest in a disappointing experience.

I guess I would ask him. He would probably know more about the potency of his cacti than anyone here. Nobody can tell you potency based on species. Any answer would be a broad generalization. Unless you know the clone names, but there are still other variables as well.
