I bought a small green house and put a couple lights and a germination mat inside so my hard work would not be in vein when winter rolls in, I have had great success germination Iboga, caapi, Mimosa, Desmanthus ill., Acacia confusa and Aderanthera columbrina. With the limited space the bugs which were not at all noticed in the big outside world now have less room to disperse and I fear their appetites for my plants safety, though I cant tell it looks like this worm is ready to chomp on my caapi seed, second picture. What kind of natural organic or non harmful pest control methods might I imply? Help! sorry about the pic size im not very tech savy Frusciante attached the following image(s): 20121109_213656_07981.jpg (1,268kb) downloaded 58 time(s). 20121109_215239_07982.jpg (1,310kb) downloaded 58 time(s). 20121109_215538.jpg (1,559kb) downloaded 56 time(s). 20121109_215607.jpg (1,633kb) downloaded 56 time(s).

I take very strong natural tobacco and boil it for a bit with a well minced bulb of garlic and then strain the water and spray that on my plants when I see bugs. It seems to work pretty well.

I also have an P. alba leaf and im not sure but perhaps a P. viridis or alba plant, is tobacco harmful to eather of these?

I spray my alba and caapi down with the tobacco/garlic juice whenever they need it, they are the ones that the bugs seem to like best. I should mention mine are all full sized plants, I notice yours are just sprouts so you might want to dilute it down a bit.

Pyrethrum is a good natural insecticide, made from chrysanthemum. I've recently started some of these same plants, will be watching yours with interest! No direction but to follow what you know, No direction but a faith in her decision, No direction but to never fight her flow, No direction but to trust the final destination.
