Very true Art, it could be a total mess but either way I'm excited for all of the cannabis states.

It's looking fairly good for Obama. He's won the three "toss-up" states called so far, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan. A site with some pretty accurate live data is the Slate Electoral College Scoreboard. What's especially good about it is that includes numbers based on states where predictions were pretty solid before today, plus real results as they factor in. On that basis, they give Obama 247 and Romney 191 so far.

^^^ That's funny! My sentiments exactly. Looks like the medical in Arkansas may not pass. That would make it certain, Kansas has a bunch of dicks. (Sorry to any Arkansans for having to deal with all of those dicks) Be an adult only when necessary.

^yeah. I take it as good news if ONLY for the fact that the conservatives, Fox News, and the republicans generally have been such NASTY BASTARDS about all this--that they deserve to lose on first principles.
This crap has been really sickening, and, honestly, the only thing that can explain some of the EXTREME nastiness and crap is....racism.

my own state is disgraceful. used to be southern democratic. Johnson won the presidency, civil rights movement went full swing, and this state flip-flopped like a catfish in a boat. people don't realize that the elitests in the state's party don't have the best interests of the working class in mind. ethnic americans helped build this country, yet were traditionally not entitled to the housing and services of their fairer-skinned counterparts. sad state of the status quo that exists even today. neoconservative republicans want to keep it that way. This is certainly true where I live, Obama didn't have a chance at winning here, sad to see all the rednecks that hate him and haven't really got a clue what he's about then vote for the other guy as long as he's white. Personally I think any politician that makes into the spotlight running for president is a horrible candidate regardless. Toadfreak!

In the end, however, I'm thankful for that good ol' American spirit: I KNEW most people would rather have an African-American president than a MORMON president--most mainstream christians (probably rightly) see mormonism as a cult.
