Question About jungle Spice and Spice Options

So AFOAF has 1.6 grams of brown jungle spice/deem... He was wondering if anyone keeps their jungle spice the way it is with all the other tannins, alkaloids and fats in it??? It doesn't look to appetizing because its brown, but he made sure that none of it was the bottom layer of the main jar.

I am guessing that if he cleans it up, it will lose 2/3 if not more of its weight if he decided to re-X. Now he's wondering if its worth saving and keeping it the way it is.. Hes got enough white spice already... And also feels that keeping the jungle spice adds more magic and duration to the experience.. but at the same time, he doesnt know how much inactive stuff is in there. Is it ok to be smoking all those fats and tannins and such?

So he was curious if anyone else thinks its worth it to keep it the way it is.. or should it be cleaned up?

i've found the jungle spice to be just as active as normal DMT, and the extra bullshits just seem (to me at least) to make it actually taste a little better... love smoking it on a bed of caapi... i've seen no ill effects yet...

I used mine to make enhanced leaf, and kept the white stuff for vaping. No problems so far! Big grin

Does anyone's jungle spice ever turn solid? Mine never did. It actually made it easier to infuse it on some herbs. I let them sit for another day or two to be sure, but mine was always like a goo. And yeah, it actually tastes pretty good! Especially with some tarragon and marigold!

I *THINK* the "goo" is called Jimjam (full-spectrum), the orange/brown crystals are Jungle (mine were solid individual flat pieces but kind of sticky and tend to clump together), and the white is Elf spice (pure N,N-DMT). I've got some of the gooey tar stuff too but haven't really messed with it.

Weird thing is I got all this out of Q21Q21 Tek 2, which is only supposed to give you the white stuff. I guess I goofed?

Manual re-x works great to solidify less-pure extracts.

Well the "jim jam" work great! I don't seem to get any bad effects, and it's good and strong. I though the jungle spice comes from xylene pulls, but is it something else? I used naptha first, then xylene.

I couldn't say exactly how, I ran into some problems wit the tek, but I got what appears to be all 3 types using nothing but vinegar, lime and naptha.

Oh, I suppose I should add my two cents to the OP, too. Sorry for derailing with my own questions.

My take it, leave it as is. You're smoking stuff. That's the way it is. Definitely not the best thing for your lungs, but it's not that bad in moderation(it typically takes a 3/4 of lifetime of daily cigs to do someone in). I think the brown spice has a different character, as well. It seems more mellow to me. I really doubt having some other things in it makes it any worse for you, but I can't say that conclusively since there's not scientific tests to show this.

I've been pondering the same thing lately...I left it alone so far. I was looking through similar threads and was reminded of the fact the the oils left over may help protect the dmt from being burnt.

actually yes but it probably contains a hell of a lot of spice in it.
