I am going to Netherlands in a week, for an Aya ceremony (my first), and I read there are certain meds that are very dangerous to mix with aya. While the info on these "do-not-combine" drugs is very good, I've had difficulties finding for how long before an Aya trip should they be avoided. I'm an ocassional ephedrine user (unfortunately) and was curios if 1 week is enough between a dose of ephedrine and an ayahuasca session.

Please research the Wiki for that information. It should be in there. "Eat your vegetables and do as you're told, or you won't be going to the funfair!"

I'm not sure ephedrine is referenced in the wiki.
Edit: 2 weeks seems to be recommended for abstinance of stimulants.

In MY EXPERIENCES, I've never had an issue related to taking ephedrine with Aya so long as I left at LEAST 4-5 days in between. Ephedrine doesn't stick around too long. You should be good. But as I said, this is just from my experience. Everyone is different. I am 100% convinced that my search for answers has led to nothing but more questions.

Thank you. There will be 2 weeks , after all because i didn't take ephedrine yesterday, and I already have 1 week abstinence, so until next week when I will be doing Aya, there will be 2 weeks. So that should be enough, I guess.

i had cold medicine with pseudoephedrine 2 days before aya and had no bad effects at all. Let us declare nature to be legitimate. All plants should be declared legal, and all animals for that matter. The notion of illegal plants and animals is obnoxious and ridiculous.
