i recently have had some confusion with how essential oils are made. i thought you were supposed to do a simple distillation of a herb and water, and the condensed fluid in the receiver flask would be in separate layers, water and oil. ive tried looking on youtube and they just talk about infused oil... anyway im confused, how would i make essential oils? simple distillation or what?
