Hmmmm.... This has got me thinking.... Would it be possible to write a program that allows members of The Nexus to download all of the contents of the forum and Wiki periodically in case it ever comes under attack? I use PDF creator to save any web page I want. The program takes the web page and turns the page into a PDF file. I use the program to keep the best teks on file in case something like what is happening to the shroomery happens. It's a free program BTW. If any one knows of a better program please let me know. I am sure other member would like to know too like said above. "Not one rain drop blames it's self for the flood"

I'm glad that we can return the favor, to whatever degree. Hope to see the site up and running soon. blackdust, I just used adobe, directed it at the full range of wiki html pages and batch imported them into a pdf. After that it was just some minimal editing to clean up some odds and ends and turn into a functional, albeit far from pretty, pdf. This is the my 2nd favorite site to go down to a DDoS attack in the last month (First being Demonoid ). Its why I'm here starting over I guess :l, also why I am building an entheobox, and would suggest others to do the same, I see 2013 as either a positive/negative year for such matters, mostly negative because such forums and websites have absolutely no protection, and when they go down the governments will be cheering that they are gone.

Demonoid was not taken down by DDoS attacks, it was shut down by law enforcement, so it's extremely unlikely to see it again (even the attempts to sell the domain have been blocked).
