Silene Capensis Documented Effects

Evening of the Third Day

My dreams have become incredibly vivid and intensely real. I’m very much taken aback by the remarkable shift in my dreams. My sensory perception and awareness is breathtaking. The visual colour pallet is astounding, I feel like I have finally woken up for the first time in my dreams. Silene Capensis is the most powerful dream herb I have ever encountered or used. The lucidity is phenomenal.

Evening of the Fourth Day

My dreams are amazingly lifelike. Geckos and lizards were moving and crawling through my dreamscape. Their skin was morphing with orange and green layers dancing through their scales. They climbed around my shoulders and my neck, moving in a downwards spiral. Instantly blindingly bright blue butterflies filled my vision. Thousands upon thousands of them were beating their wings in slow motion. Their wings started to tickle my eyelids and my cheeks gently. I felt so safe and warm comforted in my own soft giggles. I am immersed in absolute pure joy and contentment, each day the intensity and lucidity increases immensely, my dreams feel just as real as my waking life...

Evening of the Fifth Day

Things seem to be getting stranger and stranger. A dandelion baby blue sparkler plant appeared in my drams, it was shooting off bright baby blue sparkles into a dark liquorish black sky. Silene Capensis seems to influence my dreams with specifically natural flora and fauna, I find this particularly intriguing. The beauty and clarity within my dreams becomes more and more acute each day. My daily sensory perception as well as my focus and concentration have been significantly heightened. As each day comes to an end, I am filled with intense excitement to see what beautiful, surreal and lucid journeys await me...

I would really like for others to share and document their experiences with Silene Capensis, as it would be lovely to collect all the affects and peoples experiences of this amazing and powerful plant into one specific thread.

Nice. I've been growing silene for some time now, but there's still a long way until harvesting and I have yet to do a proper continued essay. So I concur with 3rdI's questions Smile

I put 1g of Silene Capensis in half a cup of water, than placed a wooden spoon between flattened hands and began to whisked the spoon back and forth until a nice amount of foam had formed. After an hour after waking up in the morning I took about 5 tablespoons of foam on an empty tummy. Its is best to keep the foam stored in the fridge, I hope this helps. Big grin

Silene Capensis is great stuff - very tasty too!

I used it about everyday for about 3 months and during this time put a lot more intention in my life towards dreaming. During this time, I had a lot more lucid dreams, certainly more vivid and better dream recall. I look forward to using it again one day - they say they if one uses it every day for 3 months, it becomes permanent, and further use is not necessary - however I found this is not the case.

My technique: I used to add 1 gram of powdered root bark to a 1.25 litre plastic bottle and add water and shake it to produce the froth. I would then just squeeze the bottle to get the froth out and eat it like that. I would do this as much as I could in the mornings, until I could not get any more froth or until I could not eat any more.

I'm not entirely sure to be honest, apparently the foam eating has been the traditional way for a long time. I'd like to see some experiments comparing both methods.

Aegle, this is very intriguing for me. I've had it on my life list for a while now to work more actively on achieving a lucid dreaming experience.

However, I have one big question for you: What is your marijuana intake like? I've been a daily smoker for about 12 years, and honestly, I don't really remember my dreams because I tend to take three massive bong rips every night before bed.

Thanks for the info and advice in advance!

I don't really smoke much marijuana, every now and again I will have a joint or a little hash... I think is always best to keep anything in moderation. I'm sorry to hear that you haven't been able to remember your dreams.

A really effective technique is to keep a pen and a book right next to your bed so if you do wake from a dream you will be able to quickly document it. If you do get an opportunity to try Silene Capensis please let us know how it goes. Very happy

I wish you safe travels

Well, that was the answer I expected, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't hoping you said you smoked mj on a daily basis Sad

Even before I read this thread, I was contemplating going 30 days without mj to see how my life would change. I think I may use this as an added incentive to complete my goal of not smoking for 30 days.

I did a little searching, but just to confirm, Silene Capensis is legal in the United States, correct? If so, what would would you or other nexians recommend as a good source?

Thanks for the help. Peace and Happy Journeys Smile

entheogenadvocate - I've been a daily smoker for about the same time as you. At my height I was easily smoking an ounce a week. I still smoke daily but now I vape and it's a LOT less, maybe 1/8 a week. I haven't noticed any loss of dreaming but I did quit for 3 months at the beginning of the year and dont remember dreaming at all for those 3 months.

I'm about to start using silene to see if I can get more out of my nightly dreams and dmt/changa experiences. Maybe I'll take another 90 days off and see if the silene could bring my dreams back in a daily sober state.

This is pretty surprising to me. I've never heard of someone quitting smoking herb, and THEN not remembering their dreams. If I quit smoking herb, I have no dreams on day 1, pretty crazy dreams on day 2, and the equivalent of a 800 mg LSD trip by night 3.

Is it necessary to take it as foam? Why not just eat the root bark?

Dagger

It is the traditional way of administration and I have found no fault in eating the foam, its an effective way of preparing Silene Capensis in my opinion. Pleased
