(to keep things clean, I'm not sure what the policy is with self incrimination, all this is about someone who is not me, as you can see the issue is very urgent)

He is very worried at the moment, yesterday he absolutely developed a form of cancer in his foot at least two times while learning to shape shift his body. He managed to cure the sores and growths both times before fully returning to his typical dimension. The first time by amputating of both legs.

He is very new to this and not sure what to make of it. As awful an experience as that sounds, he was not troubled by this but now that he is with loved ones, it is troublesome. I wouldn't want to cause them so many years of pain. Could it be possible that his experience is evidence of an early stage of cancer in this dimension/timeline? Or is the decaying body a mere milestone in the further journeys ahead? He is a smoker, with a careless diet, between the ages 20 and 30.
