Mescaline dose-response Options

SWIM is after some advice on dosage increments for mescaline.

With 300 mg of T. bridgesii HCl extract once-washed in cold anhydrous acetone, he had a lovely experience but would have liked to go a bit deeper.

Visuals are by no means the only thing I am interested in but as an indication of where SWIM got to and where he would like to go next, let's take the visuals. There were mild OEVs - objects subtly breathing, drifting night-sky clouds doing strange things. There were occasional CEVs but they really took concentration both to make them form and to get them to unfold and even then they were often distant and lacked immediacy or didn't appear at all.

What if SWIM tried 450 mg next time? Given his response to 300 mg, would 450 be about right to have more reliable and cooperative visuals without having a complete departure from everyday spacetime? (Yet Big grin )

But for calibration -- would you get similar mild visuals to what I describe, if you had 300 mg of your powder? (Just trying to isolate individual variation.)

300 is a standard low dose for hanging round with people at a party in the city for example.Makes you feel happy and enjoy the music,etc..
500 is more intense but not that much, i would like to do this by nature in a "pure" environment. Now you are high.
700 is quite stronger but manageable, never the less you are now tripping.Do it by nature, day time, nice companies.
From this stage on Swim does not have experience, I believe that going to 1000 would be more visual but still nothing to loose control or worry about. The point is that Swim does not need more in this phase of his learning.Too much energy is used.Try 500 in a nice environment, nothing to worry and a step up in the ladder of perception.

This is not specifically for you mew, but I see people getting a bit confused with what one foot of cactus exactly is. So I think that we should change the measurement unit for cacti from foot to grams.

One foot of a cactus can easily be anything between 200 and 750 grams. Taking into account that a cactus' potency can already vary significantly, including the fuzzy unit of 'foot' makes it even more unpredictable.

I hope you all understand and will use the more predictable 'grams' unit. Smile

Kind regards,

when i say a foot i actually mean

12 inches of t bridgesii clone that ive used for 4 years, about 3.5 inches diameter, top cut. typically there is more than a half gram of mesc+alkaloids per "foot"

each cacti is different, know your cacti before you dose higher and in public

ie dont eat 20 grams of peyote because 19 grams of pachanoi didnt cut it. Smile
