alternatively, you can upload pictures directly to the nexus.
directly underneath the field i typed these words into, there is a checkbox that says "attach files to this post?"

also if you look above that same field the checkbox is under, you will see many icons which serve many functions (bold, italics, underline, etc) the one with a graphic of a mountain scenery can be clicked to make the brackets.
