Hip hop artist Hopsin song is called Ill mind of Hopsin. Very blatant of what is wrong with teenagers in the last 15 years.

I hate rap. But I loved this! So true on so many levels. He reminded me a lot of Eminem.

Peace

pfft... hopsin ain't hiphop :/

and he certainly ain't "real" as he said.
to be honest i wouldnt be concerned about stuff as mild as that when there is always this kind of stuff out there... Razz

family friendly lyrics

one for the kids. learning is fun Very happy

the subtle art of the break up song

lovely lyricism.
one thing though, if you're not an idiot, you wont take this stuff literally. the above artists are intelligent people, with great writing talent.

i dont know about "hopsin" though Razz

I am not a big fan of hip hop but I love some underground bands in my country, I mostly enjoy the clever use of metaphors.

Aesop Rock is a good American hip hopper.

So as long as It's not Lil' Wayne it's Ok.

You can tell someones level by the lyrics, or by clever little tricks

and yes, there's a difference.

Id say its real hip hop.. Deep lyrics, sick beat, its modern with more synthetics but that doesnt make it not hip hop imo, just listen to the sampling... dope..
Anything said by this account, "Cosmic Rift", is complete and utter bullshit. In the event that it's not completely made up then it is a lie, exaggeration, or I am caught up in the act of role playing.

Are you people seriously debating the musical nuances of that non-music?

The message is good. The delivery is possibly f*cked up enough to get through to the intended audience. Unlikely, though.

It's definitely hip hop but it falls under rap. Rap is a sub genre of hip hop.

we were saying 'ill' back in the early 80's.

lots of clever messengers out there, a dime a dozen.
as for the modern artists, I prefer latyrx.

I generally do not like moralists and that video/song felt like a PSA.

Young humans are very impressionable. Doesn't matter if they're enculturated in a "rap culture" or living in the austrian alps listening to Volksmusik all day long.
