I know this isn't new information, but I wanted to share anyway! Razz

I've tried just about every way of smoking, and I can't recommend this system enough! Place spice on top of stone. Use a torch lighter, keeping distance at 1/2 " ... the spice melts into the stone. Inhale deeply!

I'm really loving a bubbler and Vapor Stone. Super Duper smooth journey, directly into HyperSpace.

Heath Glass Vaporslide and Stone from Aqua Lab. $75.00
Bubbler from local head shop $100.00
$$$ - Priceless

Thumbs up

I like the extra space for vapor, I suppose you take the whole dose in single inhalation? (only way to rollLaughing )

It costs more than the glass vaporgenie... I need more convincing before I believe it's the ultimate method.

Do you think it's enough just to put couple ice cubes into the bubbler? I wonder if the water has any benefit or disadvantages when it comes to vaporizing.

I suppose when one melts the spice into the "stone"/ceramic(?) one has to keep the flame at proper distance making sure not to over heat it. Also when the spice melts into the stone one has noticeably less heat filtering than with ceramic on top, therefore having to take care not to apply too much heat, but I suppose this comes with a bit of practice(correct temp)?

Freebase spice is not water-soluble, but I've heard speculation that rapidly cooling the vapor could cause part of the dose to condense in the pipe. Not sure how legitimate a concern this is.

It's quite easy to take in 50 mg in one hit. There is nothing complicated about lighting, just keep the flame from direct contact with the stone, within 3 seconds the spice has been vaporized and it's in the bubbler chamber.

This system does cost a bit more then the GVG, but having a bubbler is handy for ganja too. Just use a different slide or bowl piece. Compared to the GVG, I find the vapor to be much smoother, it almost has no taste. Probably because it time to cool before entering your lungs.

These ceramic stones are way cool. It's neat seeing the spice melt, disappear, and turn to vapor.

Do you take 50mg freebase? Why?

For me personally it's waay too much, as 25mg is a breakthrough dose and occasionally I can break through with as low as 19mg.

I really wonder if during the melting stage direct heating is too much.

Personally I melt the spice inside GVG and still it melts rather quickly, and I can't help but wonder if direct heating causes some loss of product. That's why I'm wondering why you load 50mg which is way high dose for the GVG taken properly in single inhalation. Unless of course if one wants to be shattered to million little pieces...Laughing

25-30mg when properly and efficiently vaporized can take one very, very far.

If you need 50mg using your method, then it’s probably not as efficient as you think it is.

I think everyone is different. I'm a big guy, and kinda hard headed when it comes to psychedelics. 45-50 mg is the perfect dose for me. Honestly, I have a hard time breaking thru with any less.

I don't think so because I also have a heat gun, which I've got dialed in. With correct torch distance, I can get very similar vaporization.

Nice hardware you have there I'd love to try that one but would not invest so much now.

My GVG does really good job but if you are happy and it does the job for you that that's all you need my friend.

If you get chance to try GVG do it and then you can compare and see it you really need to use 50mg. You may be right but you may also be wasting a lot.

I think he said "beats GVG anytime" before editing the post implying he's already tried it?

Personally I believe it only if the GVG is used with inappropriate technique. As I don't believe persons weight has such noticeable impact on the dose required(well maybe +/- 10mg at most).

But I really like the extra space for vapor, I wish they would make a glass vaporgenie piece as I don't like the idea of melting it with open flame...

Well what matters is that it works for cyantific well.

I've used the GVG, but I don't own one myself. (reason for editing the post) Maybe someday I'll buy one, and do a direct comparison. I also added a question mark to the title because there's really no 'ultimate' way to travel. Just what works for you. If you guys are breaking thru on 25 mg, I may be wasting spice.

Perhaps the water is the issue, I'll give it a try without.

Personally I believe there migt be too much heat applied in the melting stage... Also you might want to try ice if you want to cool down the vapor, but I think it would work well without water or ice, as there's lots of space to cool the vapor(which shouldn't be hot anyway)

I have a small perc bong which I used a few times for Changa. I found that my usual 20-30mg (40-60mg changa) doses really didn't 'hit the spot' like they were in a standard bong, so I stopped using it as a spiceship. I came too the conclusion that the extra water filtration was detracting from the experience somehow, maybe by re-condensing the vapor / smoke. Now I either (very very occasionally) use a standard bong or more likely my GVG. What I think makes the GVG a great device is that it produces smooth vapor with no need for water, meaning that there is no likely-hood of the spice condensing, or of spilling bong water on the floor once you lose motor control, plus there is less cool glass tubing for it to condense on along the way...

These health stones do look very funky though, if I had access to some hash oils / waxes I would certainly be keen to test them out.

Just for Mr. Cyantifics reference - I generally break through at just over 20 mg, over 30mg and it becomes super intense and difficult to remember. Most of my doses are 25mg like Mr. Tele.

Very nice piece, mate !

At last I'm not alone to vape spice on a Health Stone Glass, though mine is a Handvape.

With proper technique, I believe it can be as efficient as a GVG. And yes I do own both and have tested them a dozen times each.

The GVG still has the advantage of being useable for changa, preloadable with copper meshes and doesn't need such proper technique to get blasted every time, including newbies.

About the dosage, I've had doses of over 40mg without breakthrough on the GVG, I believe it depends on set and setting. Also the quantity of THC in my system seems to influence a lot the quantities needed for a full break through.
Though even if you don't break through with 30 or 25mg, I'd recommend you try those doses as well. At these quantities, it gives me great insights without the intensity of a break through and I find these experiences as valuables as full blown intense ones, shamanically speaking. (and I can feel the elves at 20mg with "weak" CEVs)
