I just started extracting dmt and and my final product is white sparkly powder. I haven't really smoked it to try to break through yet but i did mix a little with herb just to get the feeling on what to expect when i do take it. My extraction was real basic with mimosa hostilis and after freezing it got some white snowballs. I've been hearing alot about crystals but i only get powder or when i touch it turns to powder. Is it ok to have it in powder also? I don't wet it with ammonia either for if i do i will loose most if not all of the product. Is it ok to smoke it without adding ammonia to it also?

If you look at your powder with a minimum of a 30X magnifier, you will see crystals.

I don't do any ammonia, and I haven't fallen over yet..........I wouldn't bother...........

ammonia washes take too much product to even bother with it. and if you want big crysals, evap that solvent instead of freeze precipitating.

Sounds like you did the extraction perfectly, mate, if the end product can be described as "white snowballs"! Good luck, keep us posted on how things go smoalking it!

Also, as you're scraping it up, when it's still a bit moist, you can "snowball" them to create big lumps of crystals, and then let it dry more.
