Hello, I am about to make my first changa batch and only have some peppermint and lavender. Does anyone have an opinion on whether to make the peppermint leaves with a little bit of lavender or just the peppermint alone? Maybe just the lavender?

Lavender has a nice smoke. I would try a mixture of both, but if you are unsure, why not make two separate batches and decide which one you like the most? Changa is a lot about finding your own fav recipe.

Cool, I will experiment, but with limited supplies I wanted to see if anyone had opinions on the 2 herbs I have. I was thinking a 2:1 Peppermint:Lavender might be nice...

I don't think peppermint and lavender will change significantly the experience, the way caapi, lotus, salvia or pau d'arco can do. It's mostly about flavor and freshness, about finding a taste that you will enjoy when smoking. Why don't you smoke/vape plain leaf of both, before infusing? Use the mix you like tasting the most.

I have both, and the lavendar is not really leaf like, at least mine isn't. The lavender I have is more like small bits as opposed to leaf.

Therefore, if I was going to use the two, I would use more of the leaf like material, which would be the peppermint.............

The idea with the leaf is to light the side of the bowl, remove the flame, and inhale, letting the remainder of the bowl to burn without direct flame, but i don't know if the lavender, would keep burning as easily, once lit, because it isn't as leaf like as the peppermint........therefore i would vote for 2parts peppermint to 1 part lavender.

I, personally use Mullein, and have been using 1:1 with Mullein only.

Works for me.................

Good luck............

I am certifiably insane, as such all posts written by me should be regarded as utter nonsense or attempts to get attention by using totally fictitious verbiage...........

The above refers to the fictitious 'I'
