Define "I", is it the body or the mind? Is it both? Or Is it neither? Where exactly is "I".
Do objects really exist or is our mind giving a convenient human interpretation to the molecules that create a table? That's some of the Dalai Lama's views, whats yours?

Well we think we are the human body, but the human body is basically a huge habitat with all sorts of living creatures. We identify our self's with the human body however when we suffer a serious injury that requires and amputation the part of the body amputated isn't "US" anymore.
It's the same with molecules. I think we are the part that holds it all together, consciousnesses. We are the makers. What would happen if a human being had none of the perceptions they have? Where exactly do we start, and where to we end? What about the "Others"?
Why are molecules placed the way they are? Or is it just an interpretation?Do we place the molecules?

Maybe salvia gives us temporarily a sensory acuity that we don't have in normal reality. It has a very tactile feel to it.

I define I as my intuition/spiritual side + mind activity in general. "I" is contained in my body Those beliefs will probably change sooner or later as they have before

Quote:Do objects really exist or is our mind giving a convenient human interpretation to the molecules that create a table? I think it is both. A table isn't a table unless we call it that, we recognize that collection of atoms as being a table because or brain has evolved to find these types of labels useful. But at the same time I think it is very likely that even if there were no humans to interpret those atoms as "table" they would still be there and still be in the same form as the form we call a table. "I" for me is usually located behind my eyes, that is where I "feel" like my consciousness resides... but it's likely that if our eyes were on the tips of our toes then that is where we would feel like our consciousness was. As for the reality of it, I have no idea. -Я Ξ √ Ω L U T ↑ Ø N-
