Hello there, Has anyone ever seen or better yet, tried this device ? I just ordered one for tests with the spice... I believe it HAS TO work, it's a bit like a GVG, between the Glass Bat and the Sherlock... The Stone is the same material as VaporGenie uses, one just need to lift the stone, drop a copper mesh in there, and light the stone with a butane torch... I've read people commenting on the bowl version of the Health Stone Glass, which doesn't have a screen or anything to put the DMT on, and thinking of using it like oil, and that wouldn't work, obviously, but this version should be pretty bad ass if you ask me... Speculating of course, but I see none of the flaws of the Glass Bat in this one. What's your take on it ? (don't come and tell me to get a Sherlock, I do this to find suitable alternatives... I hate to be stuck to one vendor for something as important as my spiceship ) Silly(c)One attached the following image(s): health stone glass handvape.jpg (10kb) downloaded 631 time(s).

Try it out, curious How expensive is it? If it has the ceramic filter between the spice and the heat source, thats the most important...

Yup, that's the thread I was thinking about, but last time I had read it, they weren't talking about that handvape that I got...
It was you who said this : "Must. Resist. Urge. To. Buy. Moar. Glass."
I was ROFLMAO for 5 minutes. I feel ya... That's why I hit it.

Indeed...some great stuff there Looking forward to hearing your reportback on your spiceship Wiki • Attitude • FAQThe Nexian • Nexus Research • The OHTIn New York, we wrote the legal number on our arms in marker...To call a lawyer if we were arrested. In Istanbul, People wrote their blood types on their arms. I hear in Egypt, They just write Their names. גם זה יעבור

Ok so after a quick reread of the mentioned thread, it appears now one ever reported back, and that probably the handvape I got wasn't available at the time ? Anyways, will let you know when it's there, which will be after my new Sherlock, yay

endlessness wrote:Try it out, curious How expensive is it? If it has the ceramic filter between the spice and the heat source, thats the most important... That's what I thought, though the spice won't be directly between the stone and the lungs. Hopefully, the stone is not to high above the bottom of the chamber so the Arc will be able to vaporize the DMT through the stone without direct airflow. I paid 120$+35$ shipping but no pouch for that price, so it's indeed more expensive than the Sherlock. It's probably more durable tough, being more compact, but one has to care not to lose the stone as it's not fastened like in the VGs. Anyways, I'm not trying to find something better than the GVG, but something that works, simply. Here's a vid of it. I can't stop but think it's somehow just a freebase pipe combined with a vaporizing stone...

well if the stone doesnt act as a buffer against the heat/fire, im not sure if this will be any good. In any case you already bought so do let us know. The price seems expensive, but all that matters is that you find some use for it and are happy There shouldnt be a competition between vaporization methods, though sometimes there seems to be. The most important is that we find smooth, effective, healthier (meaning, no combustion) methods that work well with our loved substances, and that we share this info with others. In the end, each one has to decide for themselves what method to go for, given the options available

endlessness wrote:well if the stone doesnt act as a buffer against the heat/fire, im not sure if this will be any good. That's not what I meant. Sorry if I wasn't clear. What I see in the Vapor Genies (all of them), is that they were designed so the hot air flow came directly through the herbs and then the pipe itself. The Health Stone Glass Handvape has a "deep" chamber, and if one uses too thin of a mesh, the hot air might not go 100% down in the chamber. A solution *if the problem arises and I'm not intellectually masturbating while waiting for the experiment* would be to raise the material to be vaporized inside the chamber, maybe even... With a second Health Stone. That I didn't order, as only packs of 5 were available (for a steep 100$). Well, I could still use my Coil Vapor Genie's stone for that purpose. And if it doesn't work with spice, I'll have a nice handvape for the honey oil I'm experimenting on for the moment (since I got nice chem glass for the spice, a stock of reagent grade solvents, and a few bags full of hazes trims ) Oh well, I'll shut up now, wait for the device and test it with my lungs and brains before reporting back And yes, people have very strong feelings about their smoking devices, but I believe it comes from a good intention, to share one's way of spicetravelling And I understood now that the egoic mind never shuts up, it's up to me to get more and more aware of its traps. So I quit being defensive about anything, at least I try to Cheers fellow spice lovers, Silly(c)One.

I just got a few bigger pictures of the device I'm expecting... Remove the stone (it's not fastened in any way), load your copper/steel mesh, throw stone back in, and light up... It arrived faster than the Sherlock GVG and there was no tax on it I have only tested it with bubble hash for now but I must say it works pretty well for that. The smoke swirls inside the chamber before reaching the pipe, it's beautiful to watch And I believe it might work for vaporizing DMT as the hot air is distributed in the whole chamber before getting the mouth piece. Hash wasn't harsh to smoke at all, until THC expands in the lungs... I have really good hopes for DMT. The stone is sometimes difficult to pop out, it gets stuck for some reason. I always managed to remove it eventually, and no big deal for oil as you dab it on the stone, but might reveal itself unpractical with spice considering I have to reload after every hit. I'll probably give it a try with spice in a few weeks, now I have to enjoy my GVG for a while. Thanks for reading. Nice looking piece of hardware Silly. Too bad they are so darn expensive. Even the pads are mucho expensivo. I still get a bit envious of it, the GVG is rather plain in comparison. All these posts are on behalf of Stimpy, my yellow bullhead. He is an adventurous fish, and I feel his exploits are worth sharing...so much so, I occasionally forget that HE is the one who does these things. Sometimes I get caught in the moment and write of his experiences in the first person; this is a mistake, for I am an upstanding citizen who never does wrong. Stimpy is the degenerate.

I don't think they would wear out so easily, but they could be lost very fast : they get a little stuck, so you tap the pipe and the pad goes rolling under a furniture This piece is rather small in comparison with the GVG, though, which is still a very very nice piece of glass. The only difference is that this one has colors, it is fancier, but I still don't know about efficiency for spice. If it reveals itself almost as efficient as a GVG (don't flame the messenger yet ), then its price difference with the Sherlock isn't a big deal.

Yeah, I will be watching this closely. I cannot bear to take my GVG camping or floating with me. This pipe seems much more reasonable size-wise. Okay so from what I've heard the health Stone ceramic is easily removable.
If one were to:
1) remove the ceramic 2) Place a large copper scrubber disk underneath towards the stem to block the hole 3) load with changa 4) Place another copper disk on top of the changa (to try and prevent tar and resin from clogging the ceramic) 5) replace the ceramic (obviously protruding somewhat)
Do you think this would work?
It would be interesting to know if it would.
Edit: If not it would be cool if someone here could come up with an idea to make it work for changa too! Seems like a nice piece of glass...

TBH, I would find it completely unpractical. First, the Stone gets stuck quite often, at least on my pipe. Second, I don't think I would smoke changa in it for the first reason, and what you describe seems a bit pointless (no offense). The maximum modification I would do to it would maybe to put a copper scrubber on the bottom to allow the spice to melt in it, *if I were to put the spice inside*.
Indeed, I just did a little test with spice on top of the stone and the torch 8 to 10cm above the stone. It melted almost instantly, then I approached the ligther a couple centimeters, and it worked quite nicely... It wasn't a big dose, it was just for test in front of the computer (I do my sessions in my bed for comfort reasons). It was a bit more harsh than with the GVG, but maybe by keeping the torch 10cm above the whole time it would be smoother.
More tests will follow.

Interesting and no offense taken. I don't own one so I wouldn't have first hand experience on how practical it would be for changa.
I'm still very interested to know how well it works for straight spice. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread to see how it works out for you.
Good luck and happy travels!

You guys dont light spice like that ^ do ya? wouldn't keeping the torch on there like that destroy it? What do you guys think about just buying a replacement stone for $25 and making your own bowl or going to a head shop and finding your own pipe. 100-200 for a pipe or bong piece is way out of my price range. Seek not abroad, turn back into thyself, for in the inner man dwells the truth.
