I personally voted nein, theres good art and bad art, I believe this is one of those easy types.... provoke and they will come. And so they have indeed! Currently as of writing this, there are more people voting 'ja'.

Beheading sheeps is bad mmkay. How can the act of slaughtering animals really be considered as art? I find this really bizarre.

This is about as unartistic as anything could ever be. It's just a repeating video without the beheading. If they were actually to behead the animal then the blood splatter could at least be considered art but as it stanDs it's nothing at all.

Well the vote option is on the left, yes or no ja or nein. No idea if they are for real but...

I was highly disappointed thinking the whole time that they were going to cut off the head at the end, but no. This is not art, I could make the same thing in a matter of seconds.

What a wan..s. I can not believe this. I knew most of the people are beyond repair but this is sick. At least now majority vote for no.

The whole thing is called "Reception aesthetics". It is not art to kill an animal. But it is art to let people vote on it, and to make a big deal out of it. Involving those who are adressed makes them part of the whole artwork. In this case i would say that the whole punchline is, that everyday thousands of sheep get slaughtered and you also vote on it with your wallet. Using a guillotine as a symbol of the french resistance (remember marie antoinette) is also curious. It puts sheep (as in mass followers of everything) in the place of the french elite and it is kinda ironic to let "sheep" vote on the symbolic death of a sheep.

It's as sheep-people are going on autodestruct on a meta level....and without even noticing it...that'S another layer of trickery and humor there.

So, yes, this as a whole is indeed art.

Poor sheeple though.

The "art" to me would be more the brightly painted guillotine.

I'm afraid they've confused the word "art" with something else.
