REPORT

The following report is taken from SWIMs "Recollections" portion of his trip documentation. Not every Spice journey was documented as well as others and this is one of those experiences. This was the last time SWIM took the spice for granted.

I was sitting on the floor watching my GF resin hit her bowl and I decided to do the same with my Spice VG to prepare it for cleaning. I thought I may just get a little effect. After trying to “clear the bowl” I exhaled a rather large amount of smoke and braced myself as I realized that I was going weather I wanted to or not. I took another large hit and felt very uncomfortable and sick. I had not properly prepared myself for a full experience yet did not wish to waste it. I moved up onto the couch and put my face in my hands. I immediately felt better. In the darkness of my hands I saw a small room which contained 3 inhabitants. They looked as if they were Peruvian; at least the style of their dress led me to this conclusion. A man and a woman sat at a table and were looking up at me, smiling calmly. They then offered me a large platter that contained a small child who shared the same smile. The child was covered in vegetables and appeared to be an entrée. I thought “I don’t want to eat your kid”. As soon as I thought this the child was instantly covered in a pink substance that I can only call pastry frosting. I then had the thought "Thank you, but I still do not want him." In several successive flashes the couple’s clothing became made of frosting, then all were covered in frosting, then they all became made of frosting. They still had the same calm smiles. Everything in this room turned to frosting. The substance began to fill the room and seemed to overload my vision. I pulled my head from my hands and looked around the living room. Everything seemed to be edible and sweet in nature. My papasan chair resembled a huge cupcake. My front door took on an arched appearance. I said that "everything looks delicious!" which caused my GF to break her silence and giggle. Our giggles turned to laughter as everything returned to normal.

SWIM learned a valuable lesson from this experience. SWIM considers this the moment he went from being a novice to "experienced". He was quite lucky that the trip had a lighthearted tone and learned to always be prepared and never to take even 1 toke for granted.
